On Thursday I did one of my rare cross-country runs, namely the Action Heart 5k. My time was much slower than when I ran this event a couple of years ago, but my excuse is that Baggeridge is much lumpier than Himley!

Back home at dad’s, I found this in this week’s Congleton Chronicle:

Update: on Thursday I finally ran in the June Jaunter, one of Harlequins’ annual events. It’s a race up to the top of Walton Hill, over to the top of the Clent Hills at the four stones, and back to the car park. My time was an unspectacular 33:03, but at least I’ve broken my duck. Results and splits.
